Someone on Bluesky just made a point that stabbed me in the eye:

The ENTIRE STORY about the current US presidential election campaign is: it's Joe Biden vs. the fat cats—Business Plot 2.0, as Shiv Ramdas put it.

And look what newspaper of record carried water for the coup conspirators in 1933/34?

FYI it was not only the Times who did these things.

Boat loads of Jewish people landed in the US and was refused entry. They then went to Canada and were again refused.

The boat end up returning to Europe where most of the people ended up in the camps & yes many died in the Holocaust.

No ones hands were clean during the Holocaust.

@Mor696 @Npars01 @cstross
Yes, I know about this. The thing is, the individuals (not everyone) who turned the boats away had their moment and are now all dead. NYTimes, like some immortal undead cheerleader, keeps leading society down a darker path.

The moneyed are selfish.

They believe a smidgen more for anybody else means the poor house for themselves.

Selfishness cubed.

Antisemitism, and other forms of bigotry, are the vehicle the rich use to distract while they rob the rest of us.

The audience of the New York Times is the moneyed and the selfish.

They don't care how many had to die to serve that wealth preservation strategy.
