Two days after the apparent attempted assassination of Donald Trump, Arizona's delegation at the Republican National Convention was led today by Shelby Busch, a far-right activist who told a crowd earlier this year that she wanted to lynch a Jewish official in her own party.

Busch never apologized for the comment nor faced any repercussions within the GOP.

Quite the choice to have Shelby Busch cast Arizona’s 43 votes for Trump at the RNC when she was just caught calling for Maricopa Recorder Stephen Richer to be lynched at a public event and this crowd is pretending to care about political violence or something rn

@nickmartin Oh no! An R said something horrible! I’ll report it. Surely that will solve the problem, so I won’t have to take any further action. It’s not like they’re both empowered by threats of violence and immune to their consequences. My job is done. What do you mean I’m to be interned at a camp?! I did everything right!
