Corey Comperatore was killed Saturday at the Trump rally while shielding his family from the shooting.
Joe Biden called Comperatore’s widow, Helen, but she declined to speak with him, citing her husband’s support of Trump.
Trump has still not called the Comperatore family.
@tristansnell i'm gonna cut a grieving widow some slack and say she did not mean to say a phone call from the President of the United States was unwelcome, that she thought it was consorting with the enemy.
I mean, if I got killed, I certainly would not want my wife talking to anyone who drives a Chevy. I'm a Ford guy.
