I had played the #Phrasle game regularly for a long while, but yesterday's puzzle seems just a little too pro-Trump for me to continue.

@johnlogic

We all have been speculating about Biden's mental capacity and ability to make decisions.

I seem to recall Trump's insistence to go to the Capitol on 1/6 and now getting his shoes, in the presence of a sniper that just clipped his ear!

This year's Presidential election seems like a repeat of FDR's last election. He was old and weak, and not expected to live through his term. Voters realized that they were effectively electing his VP, Harry Truman.

Having a female VP is a problem for Biden and the Democrats.

Sadly, in 2016 the USA preferred to elect the least-qualified President in its history rather than have its first female President.

Therefore, misogyny would likely cost Biden a second term.

Democrats don't appear to have learned from their loss in 2016, and the stakes have only gotten higher.

@johnlogic

John, interesting that you bring that up. I have wondered if voters would be so concerned if his VP was a solid, well liked, individual.

Harris is a concern! Joe gave her total responsibility for the border problems early in their term. She did nothing substantial.

The main issue is that she is an abrasive force to her staff, with many resigning rather than put up with her. She's an authoritarian!
