A warm & sunny morning in the City of York. It's about time the people of Clacton considered a Recall Petition on Nigel Fartage. They were warned that he was not interested in representing the constituency but a means of raising the profile of facism in the UK

@ColinTHFC I thought a recall petition could only happen if he's suspended from the house of commons?
@Kebablog This is what I had found. "A recall election (also called a recall referendum, recall petition or representative recall) is a procedure by which, in certain polities, voters can remove an elected official from office through a referendum before that official's term of office has ended"

@ColinTHFC
It would be nice if we could kick some out however:

The act does not allow constituents to initiate proceedings. Proceedings are initiated only if an MP is found guilty of wrongdoing fulfilling certain criteria. A petition is successful if at least one in ten voters in the constituency sign. Successful petitions result in the MP vacating the seat, triggering a by-election.
