Why is it so highly requested in B2C applications, and nobody cares about it in B2B? 🤔
Mark Gjøl@bernasconi I'm guessing stuff like Visual Studio and Azure DevOps is B2B? I very much enjoy dark mode and in spite of the implementation being half-assed (in ADO) we're multiple people running it where I work.
@Gjoel I'm sure there are B2B apps that implemented it, but none of them advertise it as their number one feature, and no user is crying about its presence or absence. All in contrast to B2C.
@bernasconi End users usually have some sway over which applications they use and which they don't. In a B2B setting you use what you get and you usually get whatever ticks the most boxes - user friendly features such as theming not being high on the list for decision makers.
But as an end user of some of these applications and services I rejoice when I can turn down the intensity of any application that is forced on me. It won't impact the decision to use them, but it makes me happy.
