A few thoughts on this #Euro2024: from the start I've always thought #Spain were the best team, talented players, the best team, always focused, tactically perfect; a big round of applause for Lamine #Yamal but don't forget that giant Fabian #Ruiz or Danny #Olmo - absolutely out of this world; and the defence, with #Carvajal giving his all, Le Normand and Laporte always rigorous... But regardless of whether there is a champion (and a fair one, I repeat!), this was one of the best Euros I can remember! So much top-level, fabulous football, it made me believe in spectacular, exciting football once again.

Let's hope this wasn't just a rash of bad things to come :-(
