I just cleared the first level of my first run of #2d6Dungeon 🥳

Having a lot of fun crawling the dungeon and drawing the map, and am starting to get creative (it IS a solo RPG after all!). After I found the third bucket I decided, enough is enough, returned to the Blacksmith I had found and turned one of them into a helmet. All that noise of course triggered a patrol of a guard and their guard dog, but thankfully I rolled well ^^

Really fun game, can recommend!

Cleared the 2nd dungeon level and am now working through the 3rd. Still proudly wearing my bucket helmet but now also bought some nice additional armour with all the loot from level 2. Level 3 so far saw me facing an amaurotic with very keen hearing but bad dice luck, an angry ghost and a ton of dust and cobwebs. No wonder, it's the crypt 😬

Highlight of the 2nd level certainly was fighting the Overlord who destroyed all my potions but in the end succumbed to my great axe

I just finished the third dungeon level in #2d6Dungeon! Level 3 turned out a bit labyrinthic, I even had to search for a secret door at one point.

Lots of angry ghosts, not much loot. Let's see what the next level brings.

As you see I'm getting a bit more brave with regards to adding details...

Level 4 of my current #2d6Dungeon run has just been cleared!

I was lucky on my treasure rolls and got some nice armour and runes out of this level, so after a quick stop at the town my level 5 character can now hand out some ass whooping without taking too much damage.

Took the boss, some nasty Undead, down in 6 rounds with my trusty Great Axe.

Now on to Level 5, "Infernal" 😳

Dude just didn't want to die! It took 11 rounds! And then they didn't even have loot! 😡

At least I got a level up out of it. And some small treasure from the room.

Finally the stars aligned again* so that I was able to sit down and play through some rooms on my #2d6Dungeon crawl. Currently making my way through level 5 and have already come across a vault I couldn't unlock 😢, some quite aggressive gargoyles, a hungry black vortex and just now a room covered in quite corrosive slime with its own mind - it melted my helmet 😡

As you can see I'm trying to add more details to the map now. Very relaxing 😊

* not sick, not too exhausted, no other commitments

Finished level 5 of my #2d6Dungeon run and leveled up my character to level 7 as well. This dungeon level turned out surprisingly corridor heavy.

Will do a quick run to the town, sell the loot and hopefully be able to get a replacement for my melted helmet, then I'll look at what the next level has to offer.

Not only did I try to add more detail to the rooms and empty spaces in between, I also got a new thicker pen for the walls. I'm quite happy with how the map is starting to look now!

@foosel nice style!

I often find it troublesome that even fantasy architects do tend to lay bricks and mortar in a ... Suboptimal way so that the ground plan is complicated and wastes material 😅 Otherwise the dungeons/etc would be boring, right?

@ppxl Considering the amount of weird shit I encountered in there, I'm pretty sure the architects were just constantly getting eaten or otherwise taken out of the picture, so another one had to take over who didn't know the plans of their predecessor, and well, that's how you end up with such messes in projects everywhere 😂
@foosel now isn't that the best explanation I have ever heard! If I'll ever GM a fantasy RPG I'll let this one smoothly roll off my tongue 🖤🐉⚔️

@foosel short edit because I recently got into different tech-oriented RPGs:

- Tales from the Loop expl.: Disturbance in the space-time continuum
- Cyberpunk expl.: different building epochs possibly with war in between
- Space expl.: what ground plans?

@ppxl

- Space: Weird shit going on with space time in the vicinity of large mass. Alternatively: dug by whatever lives here and- oh fuck the wall behind you just moved
- Cyberpunk: plenty of input from all sides in a cultural melting pot leads to its own chaotic style
- Horror: run of the mill insanity
- Zombie apocalypse: ah, the old one got bitten, turned, we had to find a replacement quickly, good luck
- Pirates: Rum

@foosel the last one really got me 😂🤣
