Went up north into the "highlands" (Aukštaitija) again and after another thorough look and lots of talking, we signed a preliminary agreement to buy this homestead with all its land, history, problems and promises.

Been freaking out a little, but you gotta go do crazy stuff sometimes to keep life interesting.

If all goes well the sale should complete in about 45 days, so we have some time to prepare.
