Local Seattle politics round up 🧵
God... this week is stupid.
Mostly "liberals", liberals are pretty dumb and shouldn't be in power. This week's episodes from Seattle are just dumb and we're all dumber for watching these people govern.
Alright, the week started off strong with local unelected council woman Tanya Woo claiming to the FBI to have been hate-crimed bc someone spray painted "Fuck Tanya Woo" on a building.
The graffiti story was initially broke by a local blogger supportive of unelected council woman Tanya Woo.
Now it turns out the initial post was actually penned by Tanya Woo herself and posted under someone else's name.
In the initial post Tanya describes the hienous crime of graffiti against her. She only included one pic in the post, the "Fuck Tanya Woo. Get her out" tag on a parking meter.
She mentioned the other tags were too graphic to share.

Now The Stranger is reporting that the photo's Tanya couldn't quote were actually of the phrase "Tanya Woo is racist" and "Tanya Woo hates Black people".
Unelected council woman Tanya Woo says she has since filed an FBI report regarding the hate crime she has endured.
Meanwhile city council woman Joy Hollingsworth, who happens to be Black and represent a traditionally Black part of Seattle, was one of the first to respond sportively to Tanya Woo's socket puppet blog post.
"Progressive" city council candidate Alexis Rinck also ate up Tanya Woo's bullshit hate crime claim.
Neither politician have commented on this conservative disinformation campaign.
I refer to most of the Seattle city council people as "Liberals" and "Progressives" in quotes bc they are conservatives too scared to call themselves Republicans. They are DINOs.
Tanya Woo is basically the poster child of Seattle DINOs.
She LOST her election by 10% ffs. BUT the current corporate aligned council tapped her for an appointed seated. It felt like they wanted to cheer her up after the voters were so mean the 1st time. Oh and megadonors
Morales cried foul after her colleagues installed her political opponent under a cloud of megadonor pressure. Today the Seattle City Council appointed candidate Tanya Woo to be their ninth member, serving a 10-month stint filling the vacancy created by Teresa Mosqueda winning a King Council Council seat. Once in power Tanya Woo has acted in lock step with the Amazon Basics. Those are the council members who basically vote for Amazon and other corporate interests.
Tanya has voted for every antihomeless, antiblack, pro-cop legislation that's come up in city council.
In voting pattern, Tanya Woo is a stone cold republican.
A lot of people have had a lot of questions for the unelected council woman but she's pretty tough for community reporters to get an interview with.
So anyways, I feel like we're all pretty safe from the scourge of Seattle graffiti. But the real question is are we safe from politicians with bad takes about Seattle graffiti?
And the answer from Tanya Woo + Alexis Rinck is HELL NO we ain't safe.

Seattle's best known homeless harasser, Andrea Suarez, showed up at city council Thursday night where she seemed to use public comment to plug her candidacy and brag about harassing homeless people.
Only problem, its illegal in WA to use public comment in this way. Actually, there's more problems. Andrea Suarez was also wearing a t-shirt for her NPO which she is a director of...
Critics have long said that Andrea Suarez has been abusing her 501c3 organization, We Heart Seattle, as a make shift political campaign office... among MANY other criticism of this organization.
And if that weren't enough, Andrea's previous co-director at the NPO was recently brought up on DOZENS of charges for stealing the identities of the homeless people the org claims to help!
