I gotta say I kinda envy folks that deeply connect with characters like... uncle Iroh and so on.
All of the characters I strongly connected with were from eons ago. Mainly just Star Wars and Star Trek heroes of old.
Maybe I just need to watch more Anime. XD
Lately the character I relate to the most is Picard. Dude saw some sheeeeeeeeet and still remained decent and kind, if a bit formal.
