Can I launch modern games thru RetroArch? - SLRPNK

It’s just me or RetroArch developed the best FLOSS alternative to proprietary UI? You have a nice overlay, CRT shaders, bezels, some netplay function, customizable interface. All of this completely free and super fast. Wouldn’t be nice to also launch non-emulated pirated games from here?

Did you ever find out? I was just trying some gaming via a retro console and it is pretty cool! Seems very promising, certainly people must be doing other stuff.
I don’t think it’s currently supported to play software that isn’t on any core.
