"Andrew’s exploit is the latest move in a cat-and-mouse game between deal-hungry OzBargain users searching for a way to save cash, and KFC, which has been forced to repeatedly patch exploits and vulnerabilities letting people buy food for cheaper than intended."
I would really like a Summoning Salt video about the history/progression of KFC deal exploit values (that are completely glossed over
by this story about it).

'The will of the people': OzBargain users keep hacking KFC for cheap chicken

Crikey takes you inside the cat-and-mouse game between the Colonel and Australia's hungriest online deal hunters.

@nyquildotorg "...KFC, which has been forced to repeatedly patch exploits and vulnerabilies..."

Oh those poor victims, being "Forced" to patch the multiple exploits in their crappy software. #rolleyes

@nyquildotorg "KFC [...] has spent years playing whack-a-mole as it seeks to shut down these unauthorised bargains..."

So... there are dozens, perhaps hundreds of security holes in their ordering app and they're just sticking band-aids on when they are exploited. :D
