I gave it 40 episodes, which is FAR MORE than I usually give new series I watch, and it just never clicked for me.

@jshawthorne English! I like some of the voice actors (3 of which are also in Lupin) which was part of the reason I watched the season I watched
@jshawthorne From what I know of the director, they generally try to keep stuff close to the original, but I don’t know how true that is for JoJo?
@tabbiewolf I have no complaints about the translation. I just found the English voice direction unbearable, myself. I had a lot more fun with the show when I started watching it in Japanese
(Though to be fair, I switched in the second story arc, Battle Fever, and don't know if that's still true in Stardust Crusaders)
@jshawthorne The ADR director changed WITH Stardust Crusaders, I think!
(He’s Lupin, though I’m not defending him here, as obvious as that may seem. Sometimes his script writers don’t localize *enough*)
