One can only assume that in the public accounts, the £300m + that was 'spent' by the Tories on the (now cancelled) Rwanda policy for migrant deportation, will be re-coded as Foreign Aid.

Rwanda has essentially received a lot of money & had to do nothing for it... the only Q. is how that money has been, or will be spent in-country.

At some point a plucky reporter will track down where the money actually went, and if grubby Tory hands have not got some of it, I'll be very surprised.

The tories spent 300 million quid on the Rwanda Plan, and not one single person was sent there (apart from Cruella Braverman). No doubt a few quid found its way back from the Rwanda govt into the hands of some tory MP's

Maybe there should be a general inquiry into this and the #PPEscandal #trackandtracescandal and all the other tory corruption scandals over the past 14 years

Yes, one would hope there would be.... but my expectations are low...

@ChrisMayLA6 @Captain_Jack_Sparrow
My expectations of ‘that’s not how we do things’ are the same, but this would be an ideal time to disrupt the Tory rump and plaster them with negative headlines for at least the next year, which costs no govt spending.
Slightly less cynically, if there was ever an opportunity to permanently break the link between Tories and ‘good with the economy’, here it is.
