a byron baloghI do remember Dad telling this story, and it is also in the P-38 squadron book he had. Where is that book?
@abbalogh In April 1942 Dad was with the 35th Fighter Group. He was working on P-39's and P-40's. A year later he joined the 475th Fighter Group and P-38's which I have his yearbook. The group assembled at RAAF Amberley in Brisbane.
