Blort™ 🐀Ⓥ🥋☣️Looks great! I've always felt like the VSE could well be a secret weapon for Blender as no other video editor integrates quite so completely with a full 3D suite. I just hope one day they'll capitulate to having thumbnails in strips like virtually every other editor.

Disabled by default, two clicks away. Just like waveforms on audio.
You also missed the part where I said it’s been there since Blender 3. That’s a two and half year old feature. Of course it’s not in the announcement.
