Is this mold?
Hey guys. I harvested and dried and everything seemed fine, but while I was snipping the lady up for curing I discovered these white fibre like looking things. Now I’m worried if it’s mold. It smells normal. Related mold question: if I leave it for a few weeks and the it doesn’t change significantly, can I be somewhat sure it’s not mold? Because mold would spread? Thanks a lot!
It don’t look like mold, and I’m not saying it is or isn’t.
BUT, there is many different type of trichomes actually, some do look like stringy/webby.
The other Q though would be do you have pets or work around them? Could be pet hair getting in the goods.
there are three kinds of trichomes in cannabis plants that I know of and they all look like trichomes whereas this here ist just long fibres of something without any visible liquid or other features
Umm… maybe that’s why I said trichomes can be different and do some research…?
Not all trichomes have bulbous heads, some look like webbing, and mutations can happen randomly on plants.
