arceuthobium@jalley just a couple years ago Scalia wrote that there was no law giving the Supreme Court the power to overturn a conviction on the basis of the defendant’s factual innocence, and that the Supes didn’t have the power to invent such a law. But they do have the power to invent powers for the elite.
