@AcornPark was Steve Allen on TV a long time? I was like 11 when Elvis did the show and in 1958 we left for Japan for 3 1/2 years so those years of TV were lost to me except for a few shows the military network aired.
@Rosematuse Jeepers. The years from 1954 to 1964 were THE BEST YEARS OF MY LIFE. Needless to say am writing my memoir.

@AcornPark wow thanks so much. I actually didn't have an American Graffiti type of teen life as I was married at 16. I did love the late 50s and enjoyed wearing ponytails, cardigans, and saddle shoes. Oh and the music was wonderful! Now that I've told you more than you want to know I'll quit.😄 sorry.
