So here’s what I think top Dems and Biden should be doing to both demonstrate how dangerous the latest scotus ruling is, but also to use it to Americas advantage.

Step 1: Can Merrick Garland

Step 2: Appoint Sally Yates as Acting Attorney General (all the power, none of the Senate involvement)

Step 3: Order Yates to open all-encompassing investigation into the Federalist Society, SCOTUS, Aileen Cannon, and Trump’s legal teams. Reveal the backchannel coordination happening.

Step 4: (tied immediately to Step 3) Seize all electronic devices, phone records and written communication from agencies in Step 3.

Step 5: Simultaneous unannounced FBI raids on all Trump properties and leased storage facilities to uncover remaining classified documents.

Step 6: New regulations for broadcast and streaming networks and publications. Anything being broadcast over the air, on cable/satellite, or a streaming network must reach a predetermined threshold of fact-based reporting before presenting their broadcast as “News” and any opinion or analysis content must be clearly and continuously identified as such.
