Really looking forward to no longer hearing politicians and commentators talking about a Supermajority in UK Government, (a term which has no meaning in this country) as if there’s any practical difference- a decent majority is no different to any other large majority. And a thin majority, where the Government can’t deliver its intentions, is worse for everyone.

And also, did any of the Torys worry about their majority being too big in 2019?

@peteralee yep you’ve either a majority or not. A slim one may stop you getting stuff through when there’s internal rankling but the tories have been boasting about there massive majority these last few years not saying well we shouldn’t really have all this power, better hand these seats back (though they have been doing unintentionally by being shits)
@peteralee Supermajority is a code for “too few Conservatives to form the majority opposition”. That is their real fear, because it will be very hard to come back from.
