iamBullivantI wish people would stop describing Jeffrey Donaldson as being charged for 'historical sex offences'. I am sure that for the victims of sex crimes they are very much not historical, but rather are ever present no matter how long ago they occurred.
Not My Job@bullivant Apparently the word ‘historical’ is used to indicate the law under which the charge is laid is no longer in force (ie has been repealed or amended).
