Asher went early this morning to get stitches removed he seemed to be straining and there was some blood so we rushed him back.

he apparently hard a large clot stuck in the bladder that the vet expressed.

They gave him a shot for an antibiotic. Removed stitches checked over and said to follow up with him if all goes well he can remove his cone.
He’s also got an express order in for kitty Prozac to help. 🥹.
He still needs on a special diet for lower urinary tract health so he doesn’t get mucous plugs or increase the likelihood of infection. Cross your fingers. It’s been tough on him. He’s genuinely a good sport though. 🍀

Also I should mention in many ways Asher feels so much more loved these days even without pain meds making him a bit dopey.

he is such a lover and a cuddler. I know people may ask how do you know he is grateful?

Well the same way a person who is appreciative and hurting and thinking they wouldn’t make it and wakes up alive and in less pain with people who support him. I have known this cats behavior before and he was incredible before ;)

I think he truely feels like he matters and all of you helped out with all the shares, thoughts, donations and kindness.

He’s sooo affectionate and goofy funny, he lets us know if he needs something pretty easily.

Hes found his way to signal to us he wants something now just like a dog or a human or whatever life forms can do this.

Thanks again for all your kindness and shares and solidarity with our Floofy friend Asher. We are truly humbled by the support and will do everything to make sure Asher gets the best treatment possible. We love you all and thank you again.
