Yes, wonderful article, but what can you do about the fact that almost 50%of Americans are too stupid to read, take in information, process it and make rational decisions based on it.

The editorial is True but Useless. We know Trump won't drop out.
The issue around Biden is subjective but important.
The editorial ends with: "The sooner Trump exits the stage, the better off the country will be."
The only way to accomplish that (outside of some freaky event) is to beat Trump in the election. Figuring out the best strategy to achieve that is the only important question here -- discussion of that is not misplaced.
It's a lot more useful than the NY Times editorial board's white flag of media complicity.
@jeffjarvis My hometown paper! I've had a sub to the Inky since the 90s, and I think my 88yo mom has had a sub since the 60s.
They did good -- a real contrast to the NYT.
