Favorite new job application experience:
1. Apply for job on website.
2. Get email that says “Incomplete Application” with a link to complete the application.
3. Log in and it says “This application is final and can no longer be edited. Thank you for your interest.”
The email is coming from a do_not_reply@ address. It was sent twice yesterday.

What is almost as good is getting email from a recruiter saying that they are interested in candidates with my qualifications and would love to invite me to apply. The position: $50-60/hr, requires four or more years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
(This does not remotely match anything on my resume.)
@pronoiac No, they didn’t manage to hit that button. It’s a remote position but I think the company is also local to me.
Because the listing was on ZipRecruiter, the act of viewing the job listing has signaled to their “AI” that I am interested in such positions, so I’ll probably get to see more of them, too!
