Q: Has anyone made an "#unshorten" #AddOn for #firefox which replaces /shorts/ with /watch?v= because #YouTubeShorts suck by virtue of removing basic player controls!

Seriously...

Like this is some "#API0" - kinda stuff [thanks @foone for that term btw.]...

@kkarhan @foone it IS lacking updates, being 8 months old, but it seems simple enough that it ought to just work for the foreseeable future too.

@necrophcodr @foone Again, it seems to do API 0 - esque if https://youtube.com/shorts/ replace /shorts/ with /watch?v= - kinda stuff...

Which is why it literally loads the #YouTubeShorts version first and then reloads it as regular video...

Unless #YouTube deliberately designs their systems to have shorts not in the same video ingress pipeline that addon should continue to work...
