@chickenjoe purely-functional programming is very challenging for me, but the whole idea of inheritance in OOP is pretty awful imo.

@MiguelGuthridge @chickenjoe that's why you try to cut inheritance and favour composition

@chickenjoe Counter to what one hears online, they are not mutually exclusive, but rather complement each other quite well.

I chose object orientation because it makes me focus on information-hiding, defining good terminology, and allows handling of mutable state.
