New: There's now a two-year subscription option for Hacking with Swift+! It costs the same as 2x one-year subscriptions, but with an important benefit: you get instant access to over a dozen of my books as part of your subscription 😎
So, if you take out a two-year subscription not only do you get 300+ Hacking with Swift+ tutorials (plus monthly live streams, a free ticket to Unwrap Live every year, ad-free browsing, free gifts, and more), but you also get immediate access to 16 of my books to read online 🙌
If you haven't tried Hacking with Swift+ yet, check out the free three-day trial – you don't need a credit card, so it won't automatically become a paying subscription. Even better, I've reset the trials for everyone who tried it previously, so *everyone* can get a trial again.

My tips to make the most of the trial:

- Visit https://www.hackingwithswift.com/plus/all to browse all the tutorials that are available.
- Make a list of the ones you want to try, e.g. the Ultimate Portfolio App course, or Remaking Apple Weather.
- Start your trial on a weekend you're free 😎

And remember, there are Hacking with Swift+ team licenses options for companies with 3+ iOS developers – these automatically include all 16 books in the reading library (plus all the HWS+ tutorials, live streams, free gifts, etc), so your whole team gets an instant, gigantic training library. Ask your manager about it 🚀
@twostraws Hey Paul, I’ve been a Kodeco (former Ray Wenderlich) subscriber for 3 years, but Hacking with Swift+ has caught my eye. How would you say they compare?

@enriquealiaga @twostraws

I gave up on Kodeco because they don’t seem interested in keeping current on iOS, let alone other Apple platforms. Their energy is now elsewhere, but Paul’s is still focused on Apple platforms. 🫶🏻

@deirdresm thanks for the insight, Deirdre! 🙌

@enriquealiaga @deirdresm I have nothing but nice things to say about the Kodeco folks! It’s true that I don’t do cross-platform writing and they do; I’m afraid I don’t see that ever changing, so if that’s a concern for you then definitely stick with Kodeco.

There is a free 3-day trial for HWS+. No credit card needed; it won’t somehow charge you money if you forget to cancel 🙂 Maybe try a few tutorials and see what you think? Try https://www.hackingwithswift.com/plus/learn-something-new/the-pitfalls-of-string-bridging for a recent example of my style.

The pitfalls of string bridging – Hacking with Swift+

Swift's strings are designed to work flawlessly with languages around the world, but sometimes – just sometimes – you need to be careful using them. Let's explore why…

@enriquealiaga @deirdresm Actually, scratch that: to save you the hassle of getting the free trial, I made the tutorial free for everyone 🙂
@twostraws Oh wow! That’s awesome! Thank you very much! I’ll watch it during the weekend. 😃
