@chrislowis most business operators with a conscience, absolutely yes. However, it seems the culture at BrewDog is quite top-down.
Not in the same league, but I was at the BrewDog in Vegas, and it was clearly just a money-grab franchising. Some insight into their priorities.
@nickpiggott the difference between running your own pub and just following a rule book of some kind. How depressing. I've been to that Brewdog before as it's one of the few central London pubs with something for kids to do.
@chrislowis the inevitable outcome of starshot success -> flotation -> demanding shareholders who 'just want results'. Consolidation, homogenisation, focus on process and profit not customers. This is where the economic theory of capitalism being 'self correcting' dies in the face of 30 years of profit grabbing evidence.
