You are lucky the cop didn’t get out of their car, come to your driver’s side window, and point a gun at you yelling, “GET OUT OF THE F***ING CAR NOW! YOU ARE UNDER ARREST FOR RECKLESS VEHICLE REVERSING!”, while preparing the open the door or smash the window in to pull you out by force and drag you down to the ground to arrest you.
