Finished watching this Season's #DoctorWho. Verdict: Episodes 3-6 were great. 3 and 5 will stand with some of the best episodes ever in the series. 2 had some interesting features. #NcutiGatwa was terrific in the role. #MelBush exceeded anything she ever did (that I've seen) with doctors 6 and 7. But the ending was awful. A villain will bring death, death reverts death, with all tension defeated by our knowing the series will continue? Seriously? Ruby's mother being a nobody? And who's Flood?

@Allan_author_SF I agree about the ending - Ruby's mother and death bringing death. And the great villain god tricked by a rope and unable to free himself.

RT Davies seems to be better at beginnings and intriguing ideas than he is at resolutions and endings. 73 Yards was great... but a complete cop out at the end, which ruined it for me.

Loved Dot and Bubble.

@noam I also thought Dot and Bubble was the best of the season--either that or Boom. The former was way more subtle than Doctor Who usually is; the latter, pretty explicit in its politics, but I didn't expect the twist in either case. A twist works really well with me if I'm not expecting it.
