@taylorlorenz Are there links to the official statements the President and Governor made? Executive-branch elected officials are effectively barred from meddling by commenting off-the-cuff on specific incidents, and don't offer statements until after the incident is investigated. Though this method of info handling leaves way too much power to police and local judicial systems, that's what it's designed to do.
