@dom @stuartjeffery @samsterby You are the only Green Party general election candidates that I know of who are active on Mastodon. Do you know any others? (I found some other accounts, but they haven't posted recently.) I'm trying to add details to https://whocanivotefor.co.uk/
Who Can I Vote For?

We build digital tools to support everyoneโ€™s participation in UK democracy.

@dom @stuartjeffery @samsterby I've just found @EcoActivist - standing in South Ribble. So that's four Green Party candidates active on Mastodon so far.
@stuartjeffery @dom @samsterby I'm counting @sianberry as "not active" since she hasn't posted for several months. Similarly @ZackPolanski and several others.

Hello, I'm sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. Thanks for being in touch ๐Ÿ™‚. I am actually very much a novice at making connections in the #fediverse
Any tips will be gratefully received ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿพ

Sorry, I've no amazing tips to share about making connections! I think it's partly due to the federated design. It makes it a bit more peaceful than other networks, but it also means there's relevant content that passes unnoticed.
@semiprime @dom @stuartjeffery @samsterby thanks for updating #whocanivotefor It's much appreciated โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿพ
@semiprime @dom @stuartjeffery itโ€™s frustrating, and I really want to see more folks make the jump.
@samsterby @dom @stuartjeffery There's more Green Party presence on Masotodon than any other UK party. However, yes it is frustrating.
People did make the jump, but then most jumped right back. And I can't blame politicians/campaigners with limited time for wanting to spread their message where people are likely to hear it. However, IMO having communications channels in the hands of a few organisations is not great for democracy (this is not a new problem - see the UK media).
@semiprime @dom @stuartjeffery totally.
Personally Iโ€™m nuking my Twitter again after the election, and hoping to bring a few more folks with me.
