In 24 hours (plusminus time zone shifts), I'll be just about arriving in Newcastle upon Tyne for #chiwork24 to present my first PhD paper 💪
Absolutely looking forward to getting together with the @chiwork community 👨‍🏫👨‍💻
I'll be traveling without @kathringerling or my colleagues, as some of them will be participating in a Summer School in Birmingham at the same time 😅
The year doesn't have enough weeks for all the events!

First alarm goes off at 6.30, another at 7.

There's a big portrait photograph of The King, in his full ceremonial make-up.
I've only ever seen the Queen in that outfit, so this looks really weird. Pose and everything is just like in her portraits, so it really looks photoshopped 🤭

@daniel_bohrer well, in that portrait, he wears the crown, so it's actually the very same fancy hat...
