YarHarSuperstarWTF is that supposed to mean? First of all Asperger’s is named after a literal Nazi, we don’t call it that anymore. Second of all, plenty of autistic people have kids and relationships and are very happy. This comes off ableist as fuck

Different people feel comfortable with different names. For a while, and still today, many people refer to it as High Functioning Autism however many people find offense in using that term for themselves.
At the end of the day it is an autism diagnosis, and simply saying Autism often works fine. Most of the time I say I have Autism as it makes things easier for others if I don’t go on long explanations. For what it’s worth I was diagnosed as having Asperger’s Syndrome many years ago (in 2004), however I personally find no offense in the term ‘high functioning autism’ though only because it fits my own self.
