ZorroI tried the Atari ST version of one my all-time favourite games, Stunt Car Racer. Some have suggested that it is the best version but I'm unconvinced.
There might be a marginal gain in framerate - maybe 1 or 2 fps but the sound is dreadful compared with the Amiga.
The 8-bit versions were all good but the wireframe track graphics leave a lot on the table. Seeing the homebrew conversions to machines like the Beeb and, most recently the Plus 4, is an impressive technical feat but isn't going to pull me away from the 16 bit versions.
