If private jets are not a legitimate target for climate activists, than what is??

People who fly around on private jets are doing a lot to destroy our climate, I have zero sympathy if their planes get sprayed with color.

People complain about the actions involving art & architecture, but then when climate activists target private planes and airports it's apparently not ok either! Protests don't happen in a silent room with protesters not disrupting anything or anybody.

It's the concept of ownership.

If you own something that you value, but other people do not, does that make it all right for the other people to steal it or disfigure it because they don't think you should have it? That they have the right to deface or steal it?

Aside from the uselessness of doing this, your property is up for grabs if someone else wants to steal it or deface it. That means everything you own is up for grabs.

Is that acceptable for you?

If the object I own is destroying our climate - and that is the case with private jets - , then yes, I think it's absolutely ok if someone puts some colour on it.
But ok, let's talk about ownership: Why on earth do the superrich think they own the right to destroy our climate by polluting the environment with FAR more CO2 than the average person on this planet??
Private ownership is not the only thing that matters, some of us would like to have a livable climate. But who cares if people die in India or Saudi Arabia, we can't have some colour on a private jet because that's VANDALISM and infringes on their sacred OWNERSHIP.
I will never understand why some people are so eager to bootlick the superrich.
I hope these protests make flying by private jet so inconvenient that they have to stop. Would be good for the climate!
