it's super late at night but i couldnt stop thinking about using a windows vm to pass through my drawing tablet to use clip studio paint, the only program that's holding me back from installing linux on my main machine. Really hope this works well because if it does, im ditching windows on my main computer for good (as soon as i get an external hdd to back up my important files). Seriously, im so done with windows on my main computer. I want it gone.
ugh, just installed the windows vm. It actually felt gross ngl. Anways ill be doing more testing tomorrow to see if i can actually get my art program and graphics tablet to cooperate on it. God I hate microsoft.... CELSYS... how long will it take to just port CSP over to Linux? I swear to god ill pay extra...

welp, I did some experimenting, but vmware really wanted to fist-fight over passing my tablet through. I swear i was SUPER close. But for now, i need a break.

But i have been rethinking about my reliance on CSP on my main computer. My laptop has it as well and i dont plan on switching that device to linux. So technically, if i switch my main machine to linux, i could still use CSP on my laptop.

Still need to think about it.
