"Baudelaire, of course, is a fougere with Mousse de Saxe. Several times I've paired Lavanille soap with Baudelaire splash, figuring that they have Mousse de Saxe in common. But a funny thing happens: when I apply the splash, all I smell is fougere. I figure that over the course of the shave, my nose gets desensitized to MdS, so all it smells from the splash is what's left, the basic elements of a fougere. 🧵
