I have not been able to find any information on what the different kevels of Autism look like in adultd. Ugh.

@hellomiakoda

That information is surprisingly hard to find.

@ideogram
I have questions about my own diagnosis, and the assessment that seemed so rushed.
@ideogram
I seem to struggle much more than other level 1s I know, including those I live with.
If I'm pulled away from my special interest when I'm engrossed in it, or even just invited to step away for a different activity - It's not "I'n upset", it's true distress, often a meltdown, some of which can be severe. It's like being attacked!
@ideogram
If plans change last minute, distress.
If I've forgotten an object I usually have with me, no matter how minor, I'm a wreck.
I stim a ridiculous amount.
I don't work - and still every stupid little thing is a struggle. I struggle to set appointments, fill forms, make a god damn meal - I had a meltdown over trying to bake cookies ffs. They weren't even complicated cookies, the steps just weren't perfectly clear.
@ideogram
I feel like that rushed assessment over zoom, where they said I made eye contact even though I know damn well I didn't, just did not capture the whole story... not even close.
@hellomiakoda
I am going through a proper assessment right now, I have already had two hours of conversation and have separately completed a number of multiple choice assessments. One that might (and I openly admit I don't understand the process) divide between l level 1 & 2 is the WHODAS2.0 test which you can take at novopsych.
@hellomiakoda
I get it. I had a much better week last week. I was off work all week and just hung out with my kids a bit. Really low level stuff. That is about what I can actually handle.
