This is not someone who should be President of the @EUCommission:

"Ursula von der Leyen has sought to slow down an official European Union report criticizing Italy for eroding media freedoms, as she seeks Rome’s support for a second term as European Commission president."

This directly contradicts and undermines the very reasons for EU's existence historically.

None of that matters as long as Europeans keep voting for EPP parties for the *fifth "European" elections in a row*. A quarter century of putting conservatives in charge, even after their disastrous handling of the financial crisis. People who vote in free and fair elections get what they deserve. #youvotedforit

I did, just not for the EPP. It's the royal "you" screwing us all over, regardless who we voted for. #FAFO is another tag option, but a bit more abstract.
