Hannah highlights the work of hundreds of people in the audience and around the world. 🌍 #JWST is blowing our minds over and over again. Hannah also reminds us of the DREAMS initiative to push the limits. In particular here for WASP-17 b with the goal to understand this planet in 3D, because #planetsare3D. But also, this showcases the synergies of #HST and #JWST to understand the scattering slope in the optical. #exoplanets5
The NIR may not be affected by the clouds as much as UV/optical and the mid-IR, so we need this full wavelength coverage we can get with eg MIRI to reveal all the components and get the full 3D picture. Many challenges are ahead despite exquisite data and results, so study more. eg. also in the lab. Let the teamwork make the dream work to figure out the wonderful world of gas giant planets 💕 #exoplanets5
