Thank you for pointing this out. I wasn’t aware of this movement. It seems like a great idea!
Yeah. I found it interesting. I have heard rumors that “ Audubon” might rename as well due to controversy around its namesake having been a slave trader.
I love these birds. They’re very smart, but such assholes! They have learned to mimic a hawk’s call to scare off other little birds, and then raid their nests.
