The biggest difference between an ebook and a paper book? The sound they make when they hit the floor after you fall asleep reading.
@MichaelPryor Question: are ebook readers waterproof?

Because I read in the bathtub at least an hour a day. All my books have warped pages and the soft covers are curling up and peeling.

But they're MY books, so I don't care.

I can still read a wet book.
Kobo Libra H2O

@MichaelPryor I had to close 4 nagging pop-ups to find out they're sold out.

I'll stick with paper, thanks.
@MichaelPryor And the smell (of the paper book, that is). I love the smell of a book when you first open its pages!

@MichaelPryor paperback: thud.
Reaction: "Dammit, I creased a page!"

Ebook: crack...
Reaction: "@#$&!!! Can you even repair an e-ink screen?"

Luckily the Libra H2O is pretty robust... I've tried not to drop mine, though it's happened once or twice.

@MichaelPryor Thing is, I have a large enough phone to read on so I can take a ginormous library full of books with me with zero added luggage. AND they fit in various electronics without taking up any more space in the room. I still buy my absolute favorites in paper form, in case of the apocalypse or something, but otherwise, ebooks have those beat easily.
