EveryDay Human DerekStatus update: all cleaned up with as little stress on him as possible. There’s an increase in blood in urine.
I just want you all know what an amazing cat he is. Asher is he’s hanging on with every bit of his energy.
Hes trying his best resting a lot.
There seems to be some mild twitching.
Myoclonic it seems like.
He is pooping and peeing ok besides his urine red.
It’s been a rollercoaster and we appreciate all the help, all the kind thoughts and words and effort to try to help him and us both.
I’ve been sleeping with him on the floor since he thinks my bed is too squishy for him. Either that or too warm.
His water intake and pee output is high.
He’s a happy kid though. We are spending as much time as possible with him.
I should have been trying to fundraise more with him these tests and an antibiotic was 400. Honestly we have been trying emotionally staying positive and trying to keep him comfortable and let him know he is 🥰.
The tests should give us some kind of indication of whether he is even safe to travel.
We are also reaching out to a few people who have smoother traveling vehicles so if we can travel with him to NY after test results we can.
We just are grateful to even have any more time with him so please keep him in your thoughts .
