The Free Night School was moved to another building by a great biotope pond last night. It was hot but nice with various little areas for chatting, impromptu epgdm lessons... A primary school student got into G-Compris puzzles and Uni student got into tux typing. And I was entrusted with someones old Win7 PC for the first time. Rainy Saturday was good to be a "Linux Creature" between guests and park visits.

And, in spite of all the meals, talks, walks, playing and various fun.. The Debian Gnome installation with tons of apt packages and racket packages also... It all went well. Hopefully all this stuff will be fun to explore and not overwhelming for the nice Free Night School Teacher. He has good rapport with all sorts of kids, sweet guy.

There were two web designers consulting with a Social Welfare Office worker about the Night School web site to come. All my 350 t-shirts were in the wash so, by chance I had on a fsf "Free Software for a Free Society" shirt on. One of the web designers reacted, so they couldn't get any work done while we talked for 20 minutes or so. He was laughing-surprised that the Macbook was running on Debian Gnome. He uses emacs key-binding on VCode, but at least he knew of emacs. And Debian and Gnome!
