It's taken me 40 years of struggle, but finally I am completely at peace with not even being tempted to speak up at a company "Town Hall Meeting" after the company has more than 40 employees.
At that point, they do not really want to hear what I think, in that context, for real, and it was tempting to think that they did, for a while, and even try some experiments...
