Man, it sucks that it seems like every time I get annual leave away from work I also get sick 🤒 I am on day four of feeling very crook and have now gotten out of bed with the assistance of a lot of medication 🤧

@joelfromaus so you get a medical cert and have your Annual Leave reversed to Medical Leave.

At least you can rebook your AL that way.

@colhill you’re an absolute champion for putting that info out there. I should have mentioned I did exactly that!

It was completely unknown within my workplace that you could do it that until I discovered it within the workplace policies one day. I think back to all of the annual leave I used while sick before I knew 😢

@joelfromaus @colhill it's not workplace policies that make it so, it's the law. Australia wide.
