This is a trial of a solar node to run the Station G2 node which runs on USB PD (power delivery) (requiring 15W) & so needs more than just a normal USB power supply.

@u0421793 I realised that I needed a solar power source for the house in case of a power cut. The equipment (Power supply & panel) is actually for that but inherently just there as a backup not doing much. I realised that it is pointless having a solar node but no power to charge the phone interface to use the node. Emergency communication system needs power for the interface devices, & that is a tougher requirement, hence the OTT kit. #meshtastic #BackupPower #balkonkraftwerk
